For several years, I have been helping people transition from the Standard American Diet to Vegan/Plant based and allergen free. While mourning the loss of some of their favorite foods is difficult, one of the biggest challenges my clients have expressed is finding other foods to be excited about.
People often think of vegan and plant based eating as salads, noodles and beans. There is a lot more to it than that. Vegan eating can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. If you are a foodie then there are intricate and delicious recipes that will challenge you. If you are a minimalist and love simple meals there are equally delicious options for you. The really great news is that most of your favorite foods can be veganized.
